Apple Toffee Waffle Crunch

 

This is an elegant dessert that is SO EASY to make and a joy to serve.  With a hot, Mountain Waffle Co. Chocolate Chip Waffle as a tasty platform, place Granny Smith apple slices that have been sautéed in brown sugar and butter on top.  Drizzle the sugary mixture atop the waffle and put a scoop of your favorite ice cream by its side.  Sprinkle toffee bits around and drizzle caramel syrup over the ice cream.  The toffee and bits are in most markets, so don’t bother making them.  You’re better off spending your time enjoying this decadent dessert with friends and family.  They’ll definitely be impressed!
